I have a great interest in the Georgian Period and its diverse style ranges. I am sure this stems from my childhood as I spent my formative years in Edinburgh (the Athens of the North). Edinburgh's neo-classical new town has been a constant source of inspiration for me and it is also the place where I received my practical fine art training. Much of my professional work is spent sourcing antiques and fine art for clients; for this, my intimate sence of 'Matters Georgian' holds me in good stead.
The Georgian Period (1714-1830) stretches over 116 years. I believe that it was during these 'expansionist' years that much of modern day British life and thinking was established. It is no surprise therefore, that today many people are interested in this period, be it for historical reasons or purely through living in a Georgian house and the desire to surround oneself with period articles.
I can help you source and choose items which are stylistically and proportionately correct for your home: Georgian bookcases, Georgian chests-of-drawers, Georgian dining table, Georgian chairs, Georgian silver, Georgian period paintings, Gerogian clocks, etc.
